A picture Paris Hilton posted on Twitter about a month and a half ago may come back to haunt her. Paris was arrested in Las Vegas and claims the black Chanel purse she was carrying (which contained cocaine) did not belong to her but to her girlfriend.

Can’t wait to see how her lawyer gets her out of this mess.

Former Bulgarian Big Brother contestant, Penio Daskalov, plans to have a full sex change operation and is enlisting cosmetic surgeons to turn him into a double of Lady Gaga, which he thinks will help him launch a career in music.  I really admire the way she has created herself, so when I’ve had my operations,  I won’t be quite a man or quite a woman,” Daskalov said.

People can dye their hair and wear crazy outfits but that won’t make them another Lady GaGa.

Avatar director James Cameron told Vanity Fair the new Piranha film helps give 3-D movies a bad name. Mark Canton tweeted: “It is amazing that in the movie-making process – which is certainly a team sport – that Cameron consistently celebrates himself out as though he is a team of one. His comments are ridiculous, self serving and insulting to those of us who are not caught up in serving his ego and his rhetoric.”

Mark Canton does not stop there.  I guess not everyone thinks James Cameron is “King of the World”. 

What Would Toto watch

There have been songs about September 11, 2001, and there have been movies, and now 8 years and 51 weeks after that date, New York will decide if it is ready for September 11: The Rock Musical.

Clear Blue Tuesday is not about the attack itself, which occurs off camera in the opening scene and is conveyed with blowing dust and office paper. It is more interested in tracking the changes in the lives of 11 characters as the anniversaries flit past: 2002, 2003, 2004, and so on. The attractive and eccentric cast of New Yorkers fall in love and split up, lose jobs, get jobs, shack up — and sing, roughly one song per character.

This is so tricky.  Let’s hope they do it right.
