Will Ferrell drinks his own pee

The actor spent 48 hours in the far north of Sweden with TV survival expert Bear Grylls, who showed the funnyman what extremes they needed to go to in order to last in the harsh weather. Talking about his 2 days in the freezing temperatures, Ferrell said he drank his own urine to surive in arctic conditions. What? They didn’t give him supplies? No water, no liquor? “It was the thrill of a lifetime, even though I did get urine drunk, which is sad”.
During the two days, which will be shown on Grylls’ TV show Man vs. Wild, Will had to abseil down a 100 foot waterfall, sleep in a snow shelter and eat reindeer eyeballs while a crew was filming his every move. I want to know how much he got paid for this gig? Were there any retakes? Do we get to see the star bitching and complaining? Its interesting that he always plays a character in his films who is pissed off. Any connection?
